Usually I don’t shoot weddings…

Weddings are not my usual line of work, but a good friend of mine, Bas, persuaded me to give it a shot. I always have a bit of apprehension when it comes to capturing weddings, mainly because of the pressure to capture such an important day and potential bridezilla moments. However, I agreed to shoot the wedding of Theo and Anne, and I’m glad I did. The day was wonderful, and the couple was lovely to work with. Despite my reservations, I’m quite pleased with how the video turned out.

The hottest festival I’ve ever been to…

I was commissioned to create an aftermovie for ‘Niet Niks’ at the ‘Solar Festival 2018’, which turned out to be the hottest festival I’ve ever been to. Despite the logistical challenges, I managed to capture the beauty of the enormous stage they built and the amazing lineup they had. However, the temperatures exceeded 30 degrees Celsius, and the dry and dusty environment made it a challenging experience. Nevertheless, I persevered and managed to produce a final video that I am proud of.

Industrial but also commercial…

This video project for the ‘Houten Vloeren Paleis’ is one of my favorites among all the videos I made for them during my school days. The location had an industrial feel with a cold color palette, which gave me the inspiration to take some really cool shots. I was able to combine an industrial vibe with a commercial aspect, which made it a unique and interesting project for me to work on.
